Scotiabank Partners with the Central Caribbean Marine Institute for Festival of Seas Gala

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands – November 22, 2024 Scotiabank once again partnered with the Central Caribbean Marine Institute (CCMI) for Festival of Seas for their annual fundraising event which equips the institute with well needed support for conservation, education and research programmes. Scotiabank’s own approach to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) focuses on four pillars — Environmental Action, Economic Resilience, Inclusive Society and Leadership & Governance which aligns with CCMI which continues to demonstrate its commitment to positive climate action and its impact on the environment in which we live.

Sarah Hobbs, Country Head, Scotiabank & Trust (Cayman) Ltd, in affirming the continued support, stated that, "Scotiabank is delighted to again partner with the Central Caribbean Marine Institute (CCMI) to host the 2024 Festival of Seas event. The gala had Emmy Award winning and BBC wildlife cameraman Doug Allan as the featured speaker.
